As the only Southeast Asian stop on the 10-leg HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, the Singapore Sevens saw the world’s best rugby teams face off for sporting glory at the iconic National Stadium. The two-day tournament showcased the game’s exciting seven-a-side format and featured the 15 best-ranked nations in the sport, including 12-time Series champion New Zealand.
Aside from the on-field action, the Fun Zone offered a variety of interactive, family-friendly activities such as rugby trampoline jumps, video game booths and sponsor activations. After the tournament, fans made their way to Clarke Quay for a night of fun at Music After Sevens, the official after-party for the HSBC World Rugby Sevens, and exclusive F&B deals.
A Ruck n' Rumble Weekend
Food, fun and festivities were the name of the game as fans geared up for the Singapore Sevens with an all-you-can-eat spread, a beach party and family-friendly activities at a rugby-themed festival on the resort island of Sentosa.
After the tournament, fans rocked out at Music After Sevens, a three-night music festival that brought fans and ticketholders together post-tournament in a mix of colour and energy.
Expect the same heady formula of thrilling rugby action and fun fan activities when the Singapore Sevens returns to the National Stadium in April 2018.
