One of the pleasures of cycling in Thailand is that you get the chance to see some of the kingdom’s most beautiful regions and enjoy the great outdoors. This is especially true if you take part in the Koh Mak Low Carbon Lady Cycling Fest which this year takes place from 31 March to 2 April.
The lovely island of Koh Mak, off the coast of Trat, is renowned for its clear seas and lush greenery. It is to raise awareness of green areas such as this that Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Trat office has designated Koh Mak as a low carbon island and is organising the Koh Mak Low Carbon Lady Cycling Fest 2017 for the second year. The event also encourages people to explore this lovely island and to try some of the famous seafood and eco-friendly fun.
As the name suggests, Koh Mak Low Carbon Lady Cycling Fest 2017 is aimed at female cycling lovers who want to enjoy a 17km cycle around this lovely destination and also enjoy other green activities.
Participants have to sign up for a package that includes accommodation, ferry transfers, food and other activities as well as shirts and commemorative medals.
Bookings for Koh Mak Low Carbon Lady Cycling Fest 2017 need to be made by 25 March.
