Almost 200 dancers will join a parade across Tran Hung Dao street, which runs along the bank of Han river, while performing rhythmic Latin dances such as tango, disco, rumba, and bachata.
Visitors are invited to join the performers, who come from youth and dance clubs in the city, as well as students of the Da Nang College for Culture and Arts. They will be accompanied by a wind instrument orchestra.
The event has been organised on the last Saturday of the month since 2016 and has established itself as a cultural highlight and interesting tourist product for visitors coming to Da Nang at weekend.
The programme aims to promote the vitality and diversified culture of Da Nang, while creating a joyful outdoor musical space for both domestic and foreign tourists visiting the coastal city, according to Ngo Van Bay, Director of Da Nang city Cultural Centre.
Da Nang city’s authorities have instructed the relevant agencies to take measure to ensure social order and traffic safety at the event.
